Science-led. Independent. Built for the regulatory toxicology community.

Regulatory toxicology is evolving faster than any single organisation can track — from the EU Chemical Strategy and REACH reforms to the accelerating acceptance of new approach methodologies (NAMs). RTP exists to make sense of this landscape together, and to represent the community's interests clearly and credibly.

We are neither a lobby group nor a purely academic body. We sit at the intersection: rigorous enough to be trusted by regulators, practical enough to be useful to industry.

1

Neutral platform

We convene industry, regulators, and academia as equals. Our positions are evidence-based, not advocacy-first.

2

Regulator engagement

We build structured dialogue with ECHA, HSE, EMA, EPA, EFSA and equivalent bodies — making regulatory science better on both sides of the table.

3

Professional development

Through our annual meeting, webinars, and working groups, we raise the standard of regulatory toxicology practice across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

4

Global perspective

Rooted in Europe and the UK, but internationally minded — aligning with global frameworks and welcoming members from across the world.

The issues that matter to regulatory toxicologists right now

Our programme is shaped by members, not by committee. These are the areas RTP is currently developing working groups and conference sessions around.

"RTP is built on a simple principle: better science leads to better regulation. We engage with regulators not to lobby, but to help build the evidence base that makes risk assessment more robust, proportionate, and fit for purpose."
